I'm Jolo Balbin, a software and AI engineer who enjoys turning ideas into real, working products.
Currently, I help lead a team at Coda working on improving global payments.
Previously Staff Software Engineer at Agoda and CTO of Indigo Research.
I created TextTeaser, an open-source automatic text summarization algorithm developed for my thesis, built before the rise of modern LLMs.
Outside of software, I do wall climbing and bouldering, join various sports activies, listening to audiobooks and living the life with people.
